"Dad. I'm married. And before you all will get mad, you all should hear me out first." Nathan said.

Mr. Clemon couldn't believe his ears. "What's there to listen to?Who did you get married to?" He asked.

"Dad, I don't think you might remember who she is." Nathan replied.

"What do you mean by that? Is she from any of the reclusive families?" Mrs. Clemon asked.

Although the four great families had immerse influence and wealth, there was also the reclusive families. They were two families with elite members in every sector. Although they have wealth and power, they were second to the four big and powerful families.

As Nathan would have to marry someone from his own social background, Gloria had been the perfect match since she has both the power and wealth as their family and not forgetting.she was childhood sweethearts with Nathan.

But Now that Nathan is married and not with Gloria, it was only reasonable that he would choose someone from the reclusive family to be his wife. Because a man like him will need a woman just like himself to help him with all the company affairs.

Nathan shook his head. "No dad. She is from the Adams

family" He replied. Although Nathan had found out that Hilda isn't really a daughter of the Adams family,he still haven't found her biological family. So for now, that was what he could say.

Mrs. Clemon and Mr. Clemon both frowned and turned to look at each other. Thinking about the Adams family. Mr. Clemon wasn't even sure if it was another Adams family or the one he had in mind.

"Which Adams family? Is it the one I know?" He asked frowning the more.

"Yes dad. It is the very one you know." Nathan replied.

Mr. Clemon was shocked. "But why would you marry someone...." He was so mad finding out that she was way below their social standing. He was about to rebuke his son when he recalled that he was old enough to make his own decisions and knows what he was doing so there was no need for him to interfere. It was his happiness and he had the right to choose whoever he wants to be with.

He shrugged his shoulder as he walked to the window just staring outside. Mrs. Clemon was confused as she didn't understand why her husband will be pissed after hearing the Adams family. She looked at Nathan who looked relaxed like he had everything under control and asked. "Which family is the Adams family?"

He just smiled at his mother. He knew his mother wasn't one

to be disturbed by social statuses and she didn't really mingle around with the other families because of her health. So there was no way she would know the Adams family. "The Adams family is just a middle class family mom."

Hearing this, Mrs. Clemon finally understood why her husband reacted that way. But she also knew it was her only son's happiness. She would support him so far as he is going to be happy.

She nodded and smiled. "How long have you been married my dear? And how did you meet her? Are you happy being with her?" She proceeded to ask.

"We met a little earlier this year. Been a few months already.Four months." Nathan replied.

"Four months? And you didn't even think to tell your mom?You know how much I have been wanting a grandchild no?"Mrs. Clemon took the pillow from behind Nathan and hit him with it. She was shock at first when she heard her son had been married for four months. She had been with him all this four months and still she didn't have any idea. But she knew his son knows what he was doing.

"It was a little complicated when we first met. But we are practically husband and wife now. Everything with us is fine."

"Do you love her?" Mr. Clemon spoke up at this timne.

Hearing his dad's question, Nathan thought of Hilda. Without knowing, he smiled. The smile reaching all the way to his ears.

The past few months with Hilda had been nothing but interesting to him. Although they had their misunderstanding the first few days, they have been nothing but magnificent.

Nathan could already tell from the way Hilda stares at him that she also adores him the same ay he does her. But their marriage had been one hell a ride although it was just a few months in. From the Adams family trying hard to manipulate her into a marriage alliance to selling her off for money.

He had always been her knight in shinning armor. He didn't know what would have happen to Hilda if he hadn't been there for her all this while. She has caused a significant change in him. Him who never used to care for anything but his family, was able to put someone else first too.

He is able to go out to work, looking forward to coming back home to his wife at home. Hilda has been the light that he had been missing all this while. And now that he had gotten her,one thing for sure is that, he was never going to be whole again without her being by his side. She is like his other half rib created into a whole. Without her, his life will be full of nothing but darkness.

He nodded at his dad and finally responded to his question. "I love her very much dad."

Mr. Clemon didn't have to hear Nathan's response to know that his son was truly in love. Judging by his reaction alone to the question alone was the answer he needed. For an indifferent person like him to react like that because of

someone, that alone could prove how much he cherished the person.

Mrs. Clemon also smiled and hugged her son. "She is a very pretty girl. Since you are happy being with her, you shouldn't hide her anymore. We will support you. How about an introduction now." She voiced out. She couldn't wait to meet her daughter in law.
