Chapter 74

Samuel and Christopher were taken aback. They have been searching since dawn till now and haven't found her anywhere.Just when they were about to dispatch the Air Force to join in the search.they found her.

Their current location was a little too far from the place of the accident and they have already looked out here earlier but to no avail.

Samuel immediately got hold of his walkie talkie and gave a few others. Soon after that, he ran to the direction. Kyle placed his hand on his chest as the strong wind rattled his shirt on the hills.

He looked at Samuel who hurriedly ran towards Hilda's side and uttered passionately. "I have to admire that it is an honor to have a doctor in our mist. Quick let's get her out of here."After saying that, they all hurriedly ran towards the direction where a vague figure could be seen laying almost half dead on both side of the sea and the sand.

It was Hilda. She had been walking on her stomach as she pushed herself from wherever she could have been to here. She had slowly been losing consciousness but with her strong tenacity of seeing Nathan, she had to endure till she could finally see someone on this lonely part of the hills.

That was all she had been praying for. All of a sudden, she could hear loud foot steps as if someone was headed towards

her as fast as the person could. She was slowing losing her consciousness when she saw a familiar yet unimaginable figure in her sight.

It was a blur image of someone she so much knew running towards her. She tried to get up but she couldn't.

"Samuel. Samuel, is that you?" She asked weakly when the figure got a little closer and clearer.

"Yes. Hilda it's me. You are finally save. I am here." Samuel said in a pained tone when he saw how completely injured Hilda was. She had bruises all over her body and it looks like she had broken a few bones of hers.

He held onto Hilda who was smiling foolishly as she asked yet again. "How is Nathan? He is out of danger right? He will be fine right?"

Samuel looked at her and ended up saying in a cold tone."You are completely bruised that it looks like you are on the verge of death but here you are rather asking of Nathan. You should be worried about yourself too. You shouldn't worry."

Hilda held onto Samuel's arm tightly. "Samuel please tell me that Nathan is alright. Please tell me." She said between sobs.

Samuel didn't know how to respond. At this point, Kyle rushed over and held Hilda by the hand. "You should not be worried about Nathan as he is out of danger."

Hilda blinked her eyes slowly as she stared at Kyle who was

holding onto her hand. "Kyle, Nathan, Nat..."

That was when she completely lost consciousness.

"Hurry, we need to get her to the hospital." Kyle barked this orders to his men.

They hurriedly arrived with a beach buggy wheel car. Hilda was placed in the back seat as Samuel held onto her.Christopher and Kyle got into the passenger and drivers seat respectfully. Kyle then stepped on the accelerator pedal as the car zoomed away as fast as it could.

Samuel also made some calls to request for the operation room to be made active immediately as he had a patient coming in.

As soon as they got to the hospital, Samuel carried Hilda and with hurried steps rushed into the hospital ward. It would have been a sight to see if the Clemon family were still in the corridor of the hospital operating room as none of them had heard about Samuel being with a female companion but at that moment luckily for them. Nathan had already been moved to a room so they were no where near the operation room.

Kyle and Christopher followed suit as they watched Samuel rush Hilda into the operating room with her unconscious body in his hands.

Two hours later, Samuel walked out of the operating room with sweat beaded on his forehead as he nodded his head at

them.

"That is a relief." Christopher said as if he had just come out of hell.

Christopher and Kyle both breathed out as if they had been holding their breath for so long. Kyle then turned to Christopher who had appeared to be lost in thought since the beginning they heard about Hilda's accident.

Although Kyle had noticed all the changes in Christopher's behavior when he heard about Hilda's accident. he hadn't taken it much into thought till just now when Christopher spoke out. He knew for a fact that Christopher likes Gloria and the accident with Gloria earlier might have just being a distraction to get Nathan away from Hilda and to deal with Hilda alone.

But who else in the inside would have known about Hilda if not Christopher. If Gloria really had a hand in this, she would not be working alone.

He cleared his throat and said in a deep cold tone. "Who ever caused this accident should be an inside person. The person knew when and how to operate. Who ever that it is would not be saved by the wrath of Nathan when he wakes up."

As he said this, he turned and faced Samuel who nodded and turned away from Christopher and with his side eye, he stared at Christopher who appear like he was hiding something.When Kyle saw his reaction, he bit on his teeth so hard that he

wouldn't have mind punching Christopher in the face at that moment."

But what if his intuition was wrong? That would be him accusing his own sworn brother. He held back and turned and walked towards Samuel's office whiles saying. "I hope you got some spare clothes in your office?"

"Yes I do. I even need to freshen up."

With that he followed suit but Christopher stood glued to the spot lost in his thought.

"Are you not planning on freshening up yourself?" Samuel called out to him when he had no intentions of catching up.

"Oh." Snapping back from his thoughts, he added. "I wvill hurry home and do that as I have something to take care of too.See you later."

Christopher didn't wait any second after saying that and then walked away in a rush.
