Meanwhile, in the Adams residence, Carmen was smashing anything that she could see in sight. She was throwing a tantrum whiles her mom Mrs. Adams was trying her best to get her to calm down. "Carmen that's enough."

"No mom." She yelled at her mom as she scattered anything she could come across.

Mrs. Adams was getting pissed as her daughter was still destroying anything in sight. In a fit of a rage, she raised her hand and gave Carmen a tight slap. 'Pah'

Carmen was shocked. Her mom has never physically abused her. With an awe struck expression on, she turned and looked at her mom with her left hand on her lef cheek she stuttered."You just slapped me mom."

"Yes I did. And I would do it again and again if you don't calm down. Do you think what you doing is going to help you stop Daniel from thinking about Hilda? You need to be understanding in your part but not you acting foolishly by throwing a tantrum whenever." Mrs. Adams yelled at her.

"But mom, how is it my fault that DanieI is still thinking about Hilda? I did everything possible to get him for myself so why wouldn't he stop thinking about Hilda that b*tch." Carmen asked exasperatedly.

"It is all your fault. Why would you be sitting here smashing things when he is out there still thinking about Hilda?"

Carmen was confused at what her mother had just said. She proceeded to ask with confusion written all over her face."What do you mean mom?"

Mrs. Adams sighed as she thought. How can I have a child as stupid as Carmen. She ain't like me in any aspect at all. "You need to be around him for now to help him forget Hilda. He is just feeling guilty that Hilda stopped working at the Stephenson group and not appearing at her apartment no more.You need to let him understand that it is not his fault and if he is feeling guilty, you might as well just cancel the wedding since you just had the engagement. You need to let him feel guilty on breaking up the engagement with you too. Think"

Carmen knew for a fact that what her mom said was the right thing to do. That was all she had been doing all this while."But mom. we just had a fight because of thatb*tch. What should I do now."

Mrs. Adams sighed again as she listened to Carmen. She is nothing like me. She is kind of stupid. She pulled Carmen closer and whispered some things to her. After all was said,Carmen had a big smile on as she looked at her mom.

Mrs. Adams smiled and replied. "How do you thinkI got together with your dad?"

Carmen then laughed.

Mrs. Adams exhaled after she saw the smile on Carmen's face."

Let me get you something for your hand. You are bleeding."

With that. Mrs. Adams walked out of Carmen's room alongside Carmen and ordered the maids to clean upthe mess.

Daniel who had been taking turns in stopping over at Hilda's apartment at any turn he gets found himself yet again at Hilda's apartment this time drunk.

He sat there speaking to himself whiles shedding tears. "I didn't want you to leave Hilda. I really love you. Carmen was never a part of my plans. It wwas just you and I all this while Hilda.T m sorry. If you would give me time. I would divorce Carmen after I get her shares in the Adams Group. Hilda.sob...sob...1still love you."

To him, Hilda was still in her apartment and refusing to let her in. He kept knocking but to no avail. He has been trying very hard this past few days to get in touch with Hilda but to no avail. He sat there just staring blankly into thin air.

Time past but there was still no sign of the apartment door opening. All that greeted him was silence and the cool breeze of the night wind. Carmen who had been looking for him after she calmed down gritted her teeth as she stared at him who was sitting by the door of Hilda's apartment totally drunk.All she wished for at that moment was for Hilda to disappear from their lives and never appear in their lives again.

done. Tears threaten to fall from her eyes as she thought about al she had done to get Daniel.

At first, she only hooked up with Daniel because she hated Hilda. To her, Hilda had all the good stuffs whereas all she got was seconad hand goods. She wanted everything that had ever belonged to Hilda to be hers.

She started with her toys, her dresses, her courses, her friends and now Daniel. She never really intended to keep Daniel to himself. She did it just to spite Hilda andd let her know that she could get anything that really belonged to her. But then, she started to fall in love with Daniel slowly.

Now that she got him for herself and they had their engagement. that was when Hilda finally decided to show up.To her, Hilda was a witch. She couldn't wait to come at any time but the time they were engaged just so she could destroy their relationship.

I hate you Hilda! I wish you could just die where ever you are and never come back.' She gritted her teeth and with hatred written all across her face she whispered to herself. "Daniel could only be mine. Mine and mine alone! Just MINE!"

A tear dropped on a face as she said this. She wiped it off and with a pitiful expression on, she walked up to Daniel."Daniel,I'm sorry that you still can't seem to forget Hilda. If you still love her, I might as well just call off the engagement so that you can be with her."

She paused and stared at Daniel before continuing "I know it was my fault. I would talk to Hilda so she get's to forgive you for everything." After saying that. Carmen walked up to the apartment door and started banging on it.

"Sis, sis. It is me sis. Please open up I want to talk to you."She banged and banged but all she got was silence.
