Chapter 263
Adrian Valdemar threw the script onto the floor again.
"I can't do this anymore." His voice was icy as he turned to leave.
The assistant director hurried after him. "Mr. Valdemar, please be patient—"
"Patient?" Adrian scoffed. "I've been patient long enough."
The crew members lowered their heads, pretending not to witness the scene.
Melanie Croft rushed over and pulled Adrian into the dressing room.
"What's the problem now?" she whispered sharply.
Adrian leaned back on the couch, eyes closed, refusing to speak.
Melanie sighed. "I know you're upset, but we need to handle this carefully."
She handed him an iced americano. "Cool down first."
Adrian took the cup, his fingers trembling slightly.
"Eight more hours of acting class today?" he asked suddenly.
Melanie nodded. "Professor Fairchild is waiting for you."
Adrian slammed the coffee onto the table and stood up.
Sophia Laurent stood outside the door, discreetly recording everything on her phone.
She scrolled through her gallery and found the video she'd been saving.
On screen, Director Chen was berating Adrian.
"Even an extra could act better than you!"
Adrian stood under the scorching sun, sweat dripping from his chin.
He didn't argue. His fists clenched silently.
Sophia sent the video to Melanie.
"Release it," she said.
Thirty minutes later, Pearl Entertainment's official account updated.
A high-definition video with a caption:
"The truth will never stay silent."
The internet exploded.
"Is that... Adrian Valdemar?"
"I thought he was the one causing trouble on set?"
Comments flooded in.
"That director went way too far..."
"So he was the one being bullied all along?"
Someone noticed the details.
"Wait, this was posted by Pearl Entertainment?"
Soon, #AdrianValdemarJoinsPearl trended.
"Didn't every agency blacklist him?"
"Is Pearl insane? Signing someone like that?"
But more people demanded answers.
"Shouldn't the production team explain this?"
The official account of Fleeting Love was instantly bombarded.
Adrian sat in the acting studio, his phone buzzing nonstop.
He glanced at the screen and smirked.
Professor Fairchild frowned. "Focus."
"Professor," Adrian looked up. "Can we end early today?"
"Why?"
"Because..." He waved his phone. "I have justice to serve."
